Finished November Memory Keeping Project!!!hurray!!!



Después de un mes de mucho trabajo y dedicación a este album, esta terminado!!!!!!

 

After a month of a lot of work and dedication to this album, it is finally finished!!!!!



Lo que hise fue escribir en los especios para MEMO que trajo el album, todo lo que venía a la mente y recordaba de ese momento.

 

What I did is write in the Memo spaces of the album, everything that came to mind and that I remember of the moment the picture captured.

Puse adornitos o stickers donde me pareció apropiado para no alejarme completamente del Scrapbooking que tanto me gusta y tener estos toques especiales.

 

I added some embellishments or stickers where I thought appropriate not to be so far away from scrapbooking that I like so much and have some special touches.

 

Afuera del album puse esta cinta que dice ARGENTINA, que había comprado en la misión y encontre entre mis cartas.

 

In the outside of the album I put this ribbon that says ARGENTINA which I bought when I was on the mission and found in between my letters.

Cuando había una ocasión especial como un bautismo, una noche de hogar especial o compañera nueva ponía un titulo más grande para enfatizar el evento.

 

When there was a special occasion, a baptism, a special family home evening or a change of companion I added bigger letters, like a title to show the importance of  the event.



Cuando eran fotos de un bautismo ponía la invitación del bautismo asi tenía la fecha y la dirección para poder recordar en que epoca de mi mision fue y poder felicitarlos.

When there were pics from a baptism I added the invitation, which has the date and the address so I can remember in what time of my mission it happened and be able to congratulate them.

Despues de 5 años de haber vuelto de la misión no me acuerdo de muchas cosas y nombres, lo que esta bien porque quiere decir que he estado poniendo mucha información nueva en mi mente tambien, pero gracias a mis diarios pude encontrar información de las personas y eventos mas importantes de mi misión y poder llenar la información en los albumes y ahi tenerlos para siempre. Por eso mi consejo para todos los que van a la misión o tengan alguna experiencia de viaje de intercambio o algo asi que escriban todas las cosas importantes porque algun día se van a olvidar y van a agradecer tener esa información registrada.

 

Five years after my homecoming from the mission I don´t remember a lot of stuff and names, which is good because it means I have been adding a lot of information in my mind lately but thanks to my journals I could find the information about the people and most important event in my mission so I could fill the spaces in the albums and have it forever. So my advise for those going on a mission or having an exchange student year or something like that is to keep a journal and write the names of the people and the important events because someday you will forget and you will be thankful to have this information recorded.

Todavía tengo fotos de la misión para un album mas seria #3 pero no voy a hacerlo en diciember porque tengo un proyecto planeado para diciembre que pronto compartiré con ustedes será uno más simple porque en diciembre siempre hay muchos preparativos y menos tiempo pero si termino rápido empezaré otro. Estoy muy entusiasmada registrando mis recuerdos porque pasan los años y quiero que mis hijos puedan ver y leer estos albumes y que signifique algo, no solo fotos de gente desconocida.

I still have some mission pictures like for one more album, it will be #3 but I´m not going to make in in december because I have another project planned for December which is more simple because there are always a lot of events and planning and less time in this holiday season but If I finish fast I will start another one. I´m very excited about my memory keeping projects because years pass and I want my children to be able to look at my albums and see something meaningful not just pictures of people they don´t know with me or with their dad.
