Estoy aprendiendo a hacer moldes!!! I am learning how to make patterns!!!

No ha sido nada facil pero me encanta que es muy desafiante hacer un buen molde, me siento muy bien en la clase, el tiempo pasa muy rapido pero termino super super cansada, me gusta este rubro para hacer ropas, nunca imagine que podria hacerlas, pero cada vez esta mas cerca mi vida de diseñadora :)

I hasn´t been easy but I love it, making a pattern is very challenging, well a good pattern, I feel so good and times flies when I am in class but I end up very very very tired, I love this field of study, I love to make clothing, I never imagine I could make them but my life as a designer is closer! :)

Nueva curso!/ New course!

Empiezo hoy un curso de molderia y confeccion de prendas deportivas, estoy muy entusiasmada de aprender, me siento un poco mal porque es en un tiempo en el que suelo estar con mi bebe pero solo debo sacrificarme 5 semanas para poder hacer molder y coser prendas para mi y toda mi familia, lo que va con nosotros es el conocimiento que tenemos y eso es lo que quiero adquirir. Deseenme suerte y voy a estar compartiendo con uds lo q aprendo y las prendas que confecciono, yupi!!!!

Today I start a pattern making and sewing course for sports clothing, I am very excited to learn. I feel a little sad because the course is on time that I usually share with my baby but I only need to sacrifice 5 weeks to be able to make patterns and sew clothing for me and my family, what we learn is what we take with us forever so that is what I want to earn here on earth. Wish me luck and I will be sharing with you what I learn and the clothing I make, hurray!!!!!!!!!

Este vestidito le hice a Stefy para una presentacion de la primaria cantaron canciones patrias asi que la vestì al tono.

I made this little dress for Stefy for a primary presentation they sang patriotic songs so she was dressed for the ocasion.

Hice este vestidito para Stefy en mi curso de costura usando una remerita que le quedaba corta y una tela lila, me encantó como quedó y me encanta que para las nenas no hay mucho problema para transformar y reciclar sus ropitas.

I made this little dress in my sewing course using a t-shirt thtat was short on Stefanie and some fabric, I love the way it turned out and I like the way you can transform and recycle clothes for little girls.

Termine mi curso de costura!!!! I finish my sewing course!!!

Después de 80 largas horas de práctica en costura, termine!!! estoy muy contenta porque aprendí aunque fue dificil aprendí y ahora voy a poder hacerle ropitas a mi Stefanie y mejorar en mi trabajo, es una habilidad que sirve muchísimo y que nunca esta de mas, les recomiendo a todos aprender y perseverar hasta que les salga un poco bien y seguir practicando...

After 80 long hours of practice in sewing, I finish! I am very happy because I learned though it was hard and now I can make baby clothes for my Stefanie and improve in my work it a skill that will help you a lot and that never hurts to know it , I recommend everyone to learn and persevere until it comes out good and keep practicing until it comes out great ...

2do vestido de Conferencia un poco tarde/ Second Conference dress a litte late.

Mi meta es hacerle un vestido a Stefy para cada conferencia general, este lo termine 2 semanas despues pero igual vale, me encantan las motitas y el fucsia asi que fue una combinación perfecta y le queda muy lindo, lo hise copiando el molde de otro vestido que ella tiene y me ayudo mi compañera de trabajo para que quede mejor aún.

My goal is to make a dress for Stefanie for every General Conferences, this one I finish a little late but is still ok, I love polka dots and pink so it was a perfect combination, it looks great, I made it with a patterns of another dress she has and with the help of my super co-worker so it came out even better.

Lo que hise en mi curso de costura/ What I made in my sewing class.

Hise este bolso con un jean viejo que ya no usaba, con un molde que me dio mi profe, le agregue cinta de animal print y ya esta!!!!!!!

I made this bag with jeans I didn´t use anymore, with a pattern my teacher gave me and animal print ribbon, ready to use!!!

Frazada para bebe/ Baby Blanket.

Lo que hise fue comprar un metro de polar de animal print y a su alrededor cosí la cinta al vies fucsia y quedó muy femenino y lindo para mi bebe hermosa, asi está fashion y tierna al mismo tiempo...

What I did was buy a meter animal print fleece and sewed around the pink bias tape, very  feminine and pretty cute for my baby, sofashion and tender at the same time ...

Para una bebe!/ For a baby girl!

Hice esta gorrita pequeña cortando un sweater, aproveche el dobladillo para la parte de abajo, cosi primero a mano y después a maquina y abajo le aplique una tira de crochet hecho a medio punto que acabo de aprender, es muy facil de hacer y es ideal para una niña recien nacida, porque ya saben que se los abriga un montón cuando nacen, espero que les guste...

I made this little hat cutting a fleece sweater I took advantage of the hem for the bottom part,  first I  hand sewed it and then with the sewing machine machine after that I put a crochet piece that I just learnt how to make with single stitch,  it is very easy to make and is ideal for a newborn baby girl, because you know they have to be warm, I hope you like it ...

My sewing class/ Mi clase de costura.

El primer ejercicio era hacer las lineas rectas y parar en el momento correcto...

The first exercise was to make the straight lines and stop in the right moment...

Estas son algunas de las cosas que estoy aprendiendo en mi clase de costura, no es nada facil para mi pero aprender a coser en la maquina es algo que quiero aprender hace un tiempo y estoy contenta de estar logrando esta meta.

This are some of the things I am learning on my sewing class, it is not easy for me but it is something I wanted to learn for a while now and I am glad to be on the way of achieving this goal.

Ahora ya puedo hacer un ruedo, mi meta es hacer todas las líneas rectas para esta semana...Buena suerte para mi!

I didn´t like the flower it had, it´s a little out of style...

Asi que hise una flor nueva con tela blanca a motitas y un boton...

So I made a new flower with white and polka dot fabric and a buttom...

Me encanta!

Bandana Skirt/ Pollera hecha con una bandana...

Encontre esta idea en el blog  V & CO pueden ver el tutorial paso a paso AQUI. Justo tenia una bandana y una niña hermosa que podría usar la pollera nueva asi que manos a la obra y TARAAAAAAN acá esta la pollerita.

I found this idea on V & Co blog you can see a step by step tutorial HERE. I had a bandana and  little girl who could wear the skirt so I started working on it and here it is!!!!

Stefanie´s first dress made by mommy, finally!/ El primer vestido de Stefanie hecho por mami, por fin!

Este es el vestido que le hise a Stefy con MUCHA ayuda de mi compañera de trabajo, me costo bastante porque es el primer que hago pero lo hise con mucho amor y no es el último :).

This is the dress I made for Stefy with A LOT of help from my co-worker, it was hard for me because is the first one I make but I made it with much love and it´s not the last one :).

En la parte de abajo le puse una flor para darle un toque especial.

On the bottom part I sewed a flower to give it a special touch.

Tambien le hise una vinchita con el mismo aplique de la flor para hacer juego.
I also made a little hairband with the same flower to match the dress.

Acá esta Stefy, no tenía muchas ganas de sacarse fotos.

Polka Dots for mommy and baby/ Motitas para la mami y la bebe.

Tengo una blusa a motas como esta pero marron y rosado:

No me gusto la parte de abajo asi que la mande quitar y tuve la idea de hacer vinchitas y cintos para que mi bebe haga juego conmigo y quedo preciosa!

I didn`t like the bottom part so I took it from the blouse and made hair bands and belts for my baby to match my blouses and it turned out so cute!

Pillow case/ funda de almohada.

Cuando era niña me encantaba saltar en la cama asi que hise esta funda con un niño saltando, me encanta el piyama que tiene y los ojos de botones. ¿Que piensan?

When I was a little girl I use to love jumping on the beds so I made this little guy jumping, I love his payamas and the eyes. What do you think?

Pantaloncito para bebe/ Baby Pants.

Estos son los pantaloncitos que hise para mi bebe cuando estaba embarazada, una hermana que es un amor llamada Miriam se quedaba conmigo despues de hora en mi trabajo y me enseñaba a hacerlos en la maquina overlock, salieron bastante lindos, ahora a los casi 3 meses todavia le quedan bien cuando refresca un poco.

This are the pants I sewed for my baby when I was pregnant, a sister from work called Miriam stayed with me after work and taught me how to use the overlock machine, they turn out cute, now they still fit my baby and she is almost 3 months, she only wears them when it is cool.

Linda cartuchera /Cute Pencilcase

Hice esta cartuchera cuando estaba en 1er o 2do curso me parece muy linda y hasta ahora la guardo, como ven es muy simple pero queda muy linda :)

I made this pencil case when I was in 7th or 8th grade, I think it is very cute, I still keep it and it is very easy to make as you can see but still cute :)
